Messenger Communities

Back-to-school campaign

Overview

  • A seasonal campaign targeting students to drive awareness and adoption of Messenger Communities as the go‑to platform for connecting with classmates, sharing resources, and organizing school activities

Contributions

  • Conceptualized and wrote all campaign content—copy, captions, CTAs

  • Co-created storyboard and creative direction with the marketing creative team

  • Signed off on final visual design and ad structure

  • Coordinated with localization teams to adapt tone and messaging for each market

Outcome

  • Developed to align with platform engagement levers, including Reels visibility, feature education, and seasonal timing; this campaign supported key growth objectives and reached users at scale through Meta’s global distribution channels

Elevate

Commas game

Overview

  • Designed and shipped an educational mini-game focused on comma usage

Contributions

  • Led end-to-end game design, from spec creation and gameplay mechanics to final content

  • Wrote and edited instructional copy

  • Managed a small team of contract writers

Outcomes

  • Reached over 50K unique users per month

  • Ranked 4th out of 44 games for positive user feedback (“Did you find this game helpful?”)

Growth campaign

Overview

  • Led creative development for a paid marketing campaign promoting Elevate on TikTok and Instagram

Contributions

  • Pitched the ad concept and wrote all variations

  • Collaborated with Growth Marketing and an external agency

  • Iterated based on performance feedback and platform metrics

Outcomes

  • Return on ad spend (ROAS) increased from 70% to 130%

  • Ads leveraged existing in-app content to create targeted, high-performing creative


IXL

Language arts skills

Overview

  • Developed interactive Common Core-aligned Language Arts skills

Contributions

  • Created specs and content for several key skills:
    Compare illustrations of literary and historical subjects
    Classify logical fallacies
    Correct errors in everyday use

  • Managed a team of 12 writers/editors

  • Wrote prompts, explanations, and reviewed all instructional language

Contributions

  • Scaled curriculum across multiple grade levels

  • Featured in IXL’s core ELA skill offerings for grades 3–12
